If you had asked me if Donald Trump would run for The President of The United States years ago I would have said no way. If you would have asked me if Donald Trump would be the President of The United States I would have said absolutely not. Now I stand corrected, but if you ask me if I support Donald Trump my answer is never in a million years. Before I continue I want to point out that just because I don't support his ideas and just him, in general, does not mean I want this country to fail. I simply do not support the actions that he has taken in his first few day of office, and if you ask me what I would rather do than support Donald Trump well my answer is this.

1. Stub my toe every day for the rest of my life

2. Listen to Rebecca Black's "Friday" for 5 years straight

3. Shave my eyebrows off (I LOVE MY EYEBROWS MORE THAN LIFE ITSELF)

4. Swallow glass

5. Step on legos

6. See my grandma naked

7. Eat bugs

8. Live without technology

9. Stop eating for the rest of my life

10. Break my own leg

11. Drop out of college

12. Walk on hot cement barefoot

13. Burn my hair off

14. Like a 20 week old picture on my crush's Instagram page by accident when I'm stalking them

15. Untangle 100 pairs of earphones

16. Step in water with socks on

17. Listen to nails scratch a chalk board

18. Have chapped lips for the rest of my life

19. Get hit by a bus

Some a little more dramatic than others, but you get the point I really don't like the President of the United States.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.

From sea to shining sea, the United States was uniquely positioned for an incredible Aurora Borealis display on Thursday, Oct. 10, 2024, going into Friday, Oct. 11.

It was the second time this year after an historic geomagnetic storm in May 2024. Those Northern Lights were visible in Europe and North America, just like this latest rendition.
