If there's ever one person I go to with anything and everything, it's probably my BFF. Who just so happens to be a guy, and the best person I know. Shoutout to all the guy-girl friendships who remain strong even in the face of awkward "you two should date" experiences.

1. The Bro-Code has become your code.

You've suddenly become one of the guys, and that always means no one comes between you and the sacred code.

2. People probably think you're dating.

For the last time, it's a no.

3. He told you that guy was bad news, but you didn't listen. Your guy BFF was there for you even after your heart was broken for the 11th time.

And you especially love him for this.

4. Your family likes him better than they like you, and your mom probably wants you to date him.

It's not every day you come across a guy that your family accepts almost immediately, and it's not every day that the guy is your best friend.

5. There's no such thing as being "ladylike" in front of him.

It's basically always a judgement-free zone.

6. You've become one of the guys.

No topic is too embarrassing or off limits.

7. He's your best wingman.

What better way to understand guys than from your number one guy himself?

8. He knows all of your secrets.

And I mean all.

9. He's your "we're getting married if we're both single at 40" plan.

You don't have to worry about dying alone or living with 47 cats. He's got your back when you need him the most.

10. He understands what you mean when you make bad jokes. He definitely doesn't laugh, and you probably never hear the end of it.

If you make a bad joke you know he is going to be the first one to call you out on it. And again. And again. And then he will probably call you out on you laughing at your own joke.

11. Sometimes you just really want to hit him in the face.

You bicker like there's no tomorrow, but you still manage to love him at the same time.

12. "What should I text back? Does this make sense? Should I send it?" Has become the questions you've asked him when you talk to the guy you like.

Chances are the majority of your texts are screenshots you send him from the guy you like, asking him what to say, and complaining about how dumb boys can be.

13. He's your partner in crime.

He's the one you'd call to do just about anything. And I mean anything.

14. He knows he's not allowed to date any girl without your approval.

You know some things he might not, and you only want the very best for him.

15. He's always up for the random FaceTimes.

Doesn't matter if it's 2 p.m. or 2 a.m., you know he'll pick up the phone. And if he doesn't, you know you'll send him the threatening text to answer your call right away. Or else.

16. You know he loves you even when you're annoying him.

Bad jokes, annoying laughter, and embarrassing dancing are just some of the things that you know annoy him to no end. But it is all out of love.

17. You guys are pretty much the same person.

You could easily finish each others sentences.

18. And most importantly, you wouldn't want anyone else as your best friend.

So, here's to all of the guy-girl friendships who understand each other even in the awkward "you guys should be a couple" situations. And shoutout to my guy BFF. I wouldn't be here without you. I love you.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time. Ever heard of “pain is temporary, but GPA is forever?” Pre-meds don’t just embody that motto; we live and breathe it. Here are 10 symptoms you’re down with the pre-med student syndrome.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.

One Book Made Me Question Existence In Its Entirety

"The Stranger" by Albert Campus touches upon many heavy elements... but not in the way you expect. Although it touches upon the aspects of death and love, it also deals with a hidden philosophy similar to that of nihilism.

The story follows the short life events of Meursault, a Frenchman whose carelessness for his actions eventually ends him in jail and dependent on a jury of people to judge the ethicality of his decision and the punishment that he deserves. He eventually gets the death penalty and all throughout he is nonchalant and almost apathetic towards his situation. He finally snaps when the prison sends a priest to him to absolve him of his sins and to cajole him in confessing to the lord.
