Long distance relationships can suck. A lot. Especially around Valentine's Day when all your friends have significant others that go to the same school and they're planning their dates. But when its with someone you truly care about, it makes it all worth it. Waiting an entire semester feels like an eternity but when you finally see them its like you were never apart.

Besides for texting each other all the little things that happen in your day, you've definitely sent your significant other these messages at least once:

1. Because when don't you want to see them?

2. Counting down the days until you see each other

3. Being jealous of things other couples take for granted

4. Knowing that when they're not texting you means they're probably just busy

5. Holidays can't come faster because it means you get to see them

6. Even though you just saw them last week, it was not long enough

7. Because when don't you miss them?

8. Being realistic is no fun

9. This sucks

10. You just miss being around them

11. Creating wild ideas for ways to see each other

12. Overall sadness because you can't be with them

13. Wishing you could actually do that

14. Whenever you need a hug

15. Good morning and Good night texts

16. Saying you'll do something next time you're together

17. Being unable to spend holidays together

18. Sending emojis when you're tired of texting but you want to talk to them
