We've all experienced it, you're heart dropping so far down to the pit of your stomach and the waves of feeling "okay" to feeling worthless. Sure, heartbreak is inevitable and hopefully short-lived, but for those down moments, there has to be a way to get you back up to feeling like the awesome and incredible person that you are. Because even if your significant other broke up with you, that doesn't make you any less of an amazing friend, family member and human in general.

So in those moments when you are feeling down, here are a couple of different songs (and some classics) to get you through your break up.

1. "Out Of My Head" - The Griswolds

This song's stellar chorus and recognition of the good times, but accepting that things ended for reason, despite trying to make it work.

So, don't call my phone, 'coz nobody's home.

2. "Go Your Own Way" - Fleetwood Mac

Throwing it back a bit with this one, but going your own way probably would release a lot of tension in a failing relationship. We'll go with Stevie on this one.

3. "Yesterday" - The Beatles

While we're throwing it back, let's listen to Paul McCartney somberly reminding us about love lost. Stay beautiful Paul.

4. "Someone Like You" - Adele

As we make our way to more contemporary artists, let us be reminded that the entire 21 album by Adele is an anthem to heartbreak.

5. "Somebody That I Used To Know" - Gotye (feat. Kimbra)

Unique music video aside, this song definitely speaks to the bitterness one side might feel towards the other. Let's be honest though, it just ends up being a blame game.

6. "Irreplaceable" - Beyonce

There is a Beyonce song that is appropriate for any occasion. If you had someone cheat I would suggest some Lemonade, but this classic will get you through your break-up like the queen you are.

7. "Skinny Love" - Bon Iver

Break out your flannels, because this melancholy ballad is the beginning of mainstream hipsterdome (for good reason).

8. "Out of Mind" - Magic Man

This is all those after thoughts that you have right after a break up. Getting used to being alone (and the immediate emptiness that you feel after losing your best friend) and thinking there could have been something you could do.

"It's been a week since I fell apart. They say it's getting better."

9. "Changing of the Seasons" - Two Door Cinema Club

This song's cheeky approach to getting over someone is like a beautifully crafted musical middle finger.

"And when you say you won't forget me, I can tell you that's untrue.

'cause every day since you left me, I've thought less and less of you."

10. "All I Want" - Kodaline

This is how you feel the first five seconds after your break up. It's sad, and a little accusatory, but you need the feels. (part two is the same song, but it continues the story, so that's important)

11. "Hey Ya!" - OutKast

This song may sound upbeat, but with lines like, "If nothing last forever, what makes love the exception? So why are we so in denial when we know we're not happy here" it's pretty obvious Andre is lamenting (in the catchiest way ever.)

12. "Believe" - Cher

Okay, I know this is from Cher's venture in auto-tuning in the 90s, but you can't stay upset listening to this song.

13. "You Don't Know Me" - Ben Folds (feat. Regina Spektor)

Besides the Tim and Eric music video, this song basically exemplifies falling out of love after getting stuck in a routine.

14. "We are Never Ever Getting Back Together" - Taylor Swift

(In reality, you could put virtually any T Swifty song here, but this seems the most poignant.)

15. "Don't Wait for Him" - Side Saddle

The beginning of this song is so important. Go out, make yourself pretty, and stop waiting for someone to love you.

16-17. "Doses and Mimosas - Cherub" (and Heart <3 by them, too)

I couldn't decide which would be a better jam, but both are great to get you out of a lovesick slump.

18. "Molly" - Lil Dicky

With Brendan Urie's vocals, this song is a more serious take on ending a relationship not out of falling out of love so much as having to go your separate ways.

So, go ahead, and feel all the feels, and hopefully these songs can help you out of your slump.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
