College is a hard time to keep our lives together. We are constantly being pulled in so many directions by so many different people. Resolutions may not last, so here's a list of reminders instead.

1. Do More Yoga.

Focusing on yourself, you breathe and your movements for an hour or two a week is one of the best ways to clear your head.

2. Do More Effective Studying.

Pay as much attention to how you are retaining information from your classes as you are to the class material. You'll learn the material if you know how to learn the material.

3. Do More With Friends.

Friend time is important. Don't be lazy and stay in bed watching YouTube videos by yourself.

4. Travel More.

Go new places and explore. They don't have to be five hours away, they could just be a new place five minutes down the road.

5. Do More in Class.

Ask questions. Turn your cell phone on airplane mode and pay attention.

6. Wash Your Face More.

Put on good smelling lotion more. Wash your hair more. Paint your nails more. Do more little things that make you feel clean and fresh.

7. Sleep More at Night.

You'll feel more refreshed in the morning and be more productive.

8. Workout More in the Mornings.

There is no better way to get your blood pumping for the day ahead.

9. Have More Animal Time.

Pet more dogs, ride more horses, nap with more cats.

10. Watch More Movies.

It's healthy. I think.

11. Change Your Underwear More.

It's hard to remember, but not that hard.

12. Do Less Make Up Everyday.

Just don't put anything on half the week, your face will feel more refreshed.

13. Eat at the Dining Hall Less.

Buy eggs and fry them yourself. Make yourself dinner with good ingredients. Eat better food.

14. Spend Less Money.

The best things in life are free (except puppies).

15. Eat Less Bad Dessert (and Eat More Good Dessert).

Instead of eating five cookies at the dining hall everyday, get a big cup of real and satisfying frozen yogurt once a week.

16. Be Less Negative.

You may not be able to control everything, but you can control a lot more than you think. Being negative won't solve your problems.

17. Use Less Heat in Your Hair.

Keep it healthy and luscious.

18. Be Less Harsh on Yourself.

You're pushing yourself everyday in college. Look at you go, you're doing great, no matter what.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.
