The semester is almost over and if you are in any way like me, you are struggling for motivation to finish the semester strong. You are piled with homework and you have a long list of things to do. What you really want to do is forget you have all this stuff to do and just watch Netflix or hang out with friends which, of course, is not what needs to be done. Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school.
