For the past year, I have been binge watching "Gilmore Girls" on Netflix. Monday was a very sad day for me because I finally finished the last episode. After all seven seasons I feel like I should be an honorary citizen of Stars Hallow. I feel like every girl needs to watch "Gilmore Girls" start to finish in her life because it teaches some of the most critical life lessons.

1. Family is important.

2. Intelligence and modesty go a long way.

3. Your first love might not work out.

4. You don't have to have your entire life planned out.

5. Stay in touch with old friends.

6. You can wallow after a break up.

7. You don't need to step on others to succeed.

8. People can grow on you.

9. Read more.

10. Don't give up on your dreams.

11. Travel.

12. Just because a guy is sorry, it doesn't mean you have to take him back.

13. It's OK to pig out.

14. Money isn't the most important thing.

15. You don't need a man to make you happy.

16. Coffee is always the answer.

17. If it's meant to be, it will work out.

18. Your mom is your best friend.

In omnia paratus: ready for all things.

On a level of 1-10 with 1 being chill and 10 being stressed the flip out, you could say I'm a 9. Worrying about the future, grades, GPA, work, assignments, and a lack of sleep and food will do it to ya.

While it is normal to experience stress and nervousness, the thoughts that come along with it can bring up something else.

College students, you might be able to relate to this one. These probably sound familiar because we often tell ourselves these phrases; however, we are unable to follow or agree with these the following, deep down inside of our overwhelmed, tired minds.

1. "No more spending money on useless things"

Until you walk into a 99 cents store and suddenly have the urge to pick up anything that's less than a dollar.
