I've been a reader for as long as I can remember. I can't think of a time when reading wasn't a part of my life, or a time when I didn't enjoy books and stories. There's something magical about losing yourself in somebody else's story, and even from a young age I knew that reading books would be something I would always enjoy. It's not always easy finding a children's book or books to keep a young reader entertained, but here are some of my favorites that are great for toddlers through preteens.

1. "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish" by Dr. Seuss

(3-7 Years)

2. "The Secret Garden" by Frances Hodgson Burnett

(Ages 8-10)

3. "Madeline" by Ludwig Bemelmans

(Ages 4-6)

4. "A Wrinkle in Time" by Madeleine L'Engle

(Ages 11+)

5. "The Wizard of Oz" by L. Frank Baum

(Ages 8-12)

6. "If You Give A Mouse A Cookie" by Laura Joffe Numeroff

(Ages 4-8)

7. "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom" By Bill Martin Jr and John Archambault

(Ages 3-5)

8. "Matilda" by Roald Dahl

(Ages 8-10)

9. "Anne of Green Gables" by L.M. Montgomery

(Ages 11+)

10. "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" by Eric Carle

(Ages 0-3)

11. "Green Eggs and Ham" by Dr. Seuss

(Ages 4-6)

12. "The BFG" by Roald Dahl

(Ages 8-12)

13. "Eloise" by Kay Thompson

(Ages 6-9)

14. "Corduroy" by Don Freeman

(Ages 0-3)

15. "Where the Wild Things Are" by Maurice Sendak

(Ages 0-3)

16. "Charlotte's Web" by E.B. White

(Ages 8-10)

17. "Are You My Mother?" by P.D. Eastman

(Ages 0-3)

18. "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" by J.K. Rowling

(Ages 11+)

***Please keep in mind that the age recommendations are just that: recommendations. Reading levels vary from child to child, so keep in mind that it's perfectly acceptable in some cases for younger children to read books recommended for older children, and for older kids to read books recommended for younger children.

If I have learned one thing in my lifetime, it is that friends are a privilege. No one is required to give you their company and yet there is some sort of shared connection that keeps you together. And from that friendship, you may even find yourself lucky enough to have a few more friends, thus forming a group. Here are just a few signs that prove your current friend group is the ultimate friend group.

When it comes to television, there’s very few sets of on-screen siblings that a lot of us can relate to. Only those who have grown up with siblings knows what it feels like to fight, prank, and love a sibling. Ross and Monica Geller were definitely overbearing and overshared some things through the series of "Friends," but they captured perfectly what real siblings feel in real life. Some of their antics were funny, some were a little weird but all of them are completely relatable to brothers and sisters everywhere.

1. The Legacy.

Her sister was a member, her mom was a member, all of her aunts were members, and her grandma was a member. She has been waiting her whole life to wear these letters and cried hysterically on bid day. Although she can act entitled at times, you can bet she is one of the most enthusiastic sisters.

Every kid in college and/or high school dreams of summer the moment they walk through the door on the first day back in September. It becomes harder and harder to focus in classes and while doing assignments as the days get closer. The winter has been lagging, the days are short and dark, and no one is quite themselves due to lack of energy and sunlight. Let's face it: life is ten times better in the summertime.
