On a recent, brisk Saturday morning, I found myself in Bath & Body Works, as I do most Saturdays. Two older women walked in discussing the movies they had just seen (yes, movies. They saw two.) They started discussing the movie Money Monster, although they couldn't recall the name, so we just went with "George Clooney." I picked up a nearby candle and said, "If you want your house to smell like George Clooney, you should buy this candle."

Thus, it began.

The next hour of my life was dedicated to matching celebrities with the Bath & Body Works fragrances and products. If you didn't know, Bath & Body Works breaks their product line into three divisions: signature body care, home fragrance, and soaps. So I did the same.

Signature Body Care:

Golden Girls - Sweet Pea

Per Bath & Body Works: A bright and optimistic fragrance, Sweet Pea is an award-winning mix of juicy raspberries and pear kissed by soft pink petals.

So Golden Girls.

Betty White - Hello Beautiful

In case you didn't notice the Betty White wasn't in the photo above, it's because she rocks a way better fragrance. Something new and flashy, but with just a little bit of grandma floral.

Taylor Swift - A Thousand Wishes

Who better to wear the America's fav than TSwift herself? And obviously she's a diamond mist kind of person.

Arizona Robbins (Jessica Capshaw) - Beautiful Day

Okay, technically Arizona isn't a real person, but if she was, she would wear Beautiful Day.

Hillary Clinton - Moonlight Path

I feel the same way about Moonlight Path as Hillary feels in this photo. Neither are right for me.

Hannah Montana - Tiki Mango Mai Tai

If Tiki Mango was a scent when Hannah Montana was super cool, I would've bet every penny my mom spent on my VIP Miley World account that Tiki Mango was the shower gel in her bathroom.

Alex Russo (Selena Gomez) - Love & Sunshine

Selena circa 2008 definitely was also a diamond mist person.

Oprah Winfrey - Lavender and Spring Apricot

Oprah would def put this under everyone's seats if she still had her show. I bet O Magazine subscribers would love this, too.

Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen - Paris/Mad About You and Coconut Coolada/Pink Lemonade Fizz

It's impossible to pick just one era of the Olsen twins. I imagine that during Full House and while they starred in their own movies they wore Coconut Coolada and Pink Lemonade Fizz (obviously). Now, they wear way more sophisticated fragrances like Paris and Mad About You.

Rhianna - Tahiti Island Dream

Riri obviously prefers the eau de parfum over fine fragrance mist.

Beyonce - Forever Red

Only the best for Queen Bey. The "most luxurious fragrance ever" is more expensive than the rest (remember when she poured my college tuition in a hot tub?) This is the only option for Bey.

Channing Tatum - Malibu Heat

A wise woman in my life once said, "If I was a male stripper, this is what I would want to smell like."

Home Fragrance:

Kelly Ripa - London: Tea & Lemon

This is the only candle that should be allowed in the studio. She probably keeps a mini in her purse like me.

Ryan Reynolds & Blake Lively - Baja Cactus Blossom

This was originally just a Ryan candle, but is now more justifiable as a couple candle.

Ryan Seacrest - Strawberry Vanilla

With his Warm Vanilla Sugar shower gel and Strawberry Vanilla Sugar hand soap, it was the only combination for someone like Ryan.

McDreamy (Patrick Dempsey) R.I.P. - Mahogany Teakwood

Both McDreamy and Patrick deserve a mandle (man candle) this perfect.

Jennifer Lawrence - Midnight Blue Citrus

Once blessed with JLaw, the world (or at least U.S. and Canada) have also been blessed with this candle.

George Clooney - Bowties and Bourbon

He's the man who started it all.

Soaps:

Jessica and Ashlee Simpson - Black Cherry Merlot

These two would 100% be obsessed with this soap.

Kris Kardashian - Smart Soap

It's just the mom in her.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
