As I sat there on my couch just as the clock struck midnight, I started to think about all the ways I could improve in 2016. Just kidding. Let's be honest, even if I did have goals, I know better to make big "New Years Resolutions". They are always too big and unrealistic. Now this isn't to say that you shouldn't make goals for yourself. I'm just saying that if you are waiting for the first of every year to try and set goals for yourself, you most likely won't be accomplishing them. For starters, here are some of the basic goals everyone says they will accomplish but never actually do. Sorry in advance for this cynical, yet realistic perspective on these resolutions.
.) Work out more
.) Eat healthier
.) Spend more time with your family
.) Wake up earlier
.) Go to bed earlier
.) Be nicer to people
.) Spend less money
.) Pick up a new hobby
.) Quit your job to do something you love
.) Volunteer more
.) Drink less
.) Watch less TV
.) Dress nicer
.) Stop procrastinating
.) Reflect more/take more time for yourself
.) Swear less
