Dear 17 year old me,

Hey, how has it been going? You do not know me, but I sure know you. I know everything about you. I know your struggles, I know your heartache. There are just some things I wanted to tell you before you go and do something you'll regret.

Friends come and go, you need to let them go otherwise it will hurt you more than you think. You are going to graduate with about 5 friends, but by the time you are my age, you are going to only still be friends with one of them. Keep her around do not push her away because of another friend, it is so not worth that pain. Also, remember to always tell the truth and express how you feel. Holding it all in will send you spiraling downward and its not fun... trust me hun.

You are not going to believe this, but you get to ride and go to college...like you actually get to go to a real college. Well, it will turn into a University by the end of your freshman year. You want to be a veterinarian? Well think again because you will be making up your mind... twice. Just a little warning.

And always remember, "No one can make you inferior without your consent," you get that tattooed on your thigh by the way.

It's officially December. There is less than a month of 2024, and I still feel like yesterday was summer. Now comes the merriest time of the year, the Christmas season.

Everyone has been waiting for this time of year since mid-October (which is way too early, in my opinion) or before. It's a time of love, family, memory-making, and gift-giving. A lot of times when I ask friends and family what they want, I get a lot of "I don't know" or "I don't care."
