In this day and age, it’s hard to find that someone whom you can call “best friend” because it seems like they come and go. With everyone trying to fit in competing for acceptance, the true meaning of friendship has long been distorted and sometimes forgotten.Every couple of years, you find a couple of good friends, yes, but there will come a time when you find a friend you seriously cannot imagine not having your life. She is your go-to and you don't even think about making any major decision without consulting her first. With everyone trying to fit in competing for acceptance, the true meaning of friendship has long been distorted and sometimes forgotten.

Sometimes life cooperates; the stars and planets align to give you that window of opportunity to discover something really great. Here are 17 signs that you’ve found your BFFL orbest friend for life:

1. She is your biggest fan.

It doesn't matter how big or small the task you're looking to accomplish, she is in your corner cheering you on the whole way. Sometimes a little more than she should, but hey. You're her best friend. So she's like, GO BEST FRIEND!

2. Whenever you’re together, there's always some type of adventure that ensues.

By adventure, I mean running to Target or taking a long drive around town blasting music from the early 2000's and singing at the top of your lungs. And laughing. Lots of laughing.

3. You both share the love of napping. No matter what needs to get done that day: you need your nap. No questions asked.

Your ideal Friday night is sitting at home with them eating ice cream and watching Grey's Anatomy. And resting. Lots of resting. Because laying bed all day is oh so stressful.

4. She can read your mind.

She knows exactly what you're thinking, whether it's good or bad. The look says it all.

5. You may not have known each other your entire life but that doesn’t stop you from being your true selves.

6 .You both have this annoying but special hug when you haven't seen each other for a long time.

7. She doesn't care what you do. Where you've gone wrong. She's got your back because she truly cares.

8. You're both content dong absolutely nothing so long as it's together.

9 .She's basically your soulmate. You can't explain it. There's just this underlying connection and she just makes you happy having her along on the wild roller coaster of life.

10 .She understands your weird quirks and probably has some that are even weirder.

11. She doesn't hesitate to put you in your place. Or to calm you down when you're being completely irrational.

12. You make time for each other in your crazy schedules.

13. Whether it's a good or a bad plan, you're always there to back her up. Or bail her out.

14. You have your future planned out more than you do with your significant other.

15. She knows your schedule better than you know it yourself

16. You have no problem telling her when she's being gross or when she needs to pull herself together.

17. She pushes you to be the best you can be. And you do the exact same for her.

At the end of the day, you can't imagine your life without her. With the friendship we share, there's no what its an accident.

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.

Aubrey Plaza is one of my favorite humans in Hollywood. She's honest, blunt, unapologetic, and hilarious. I just started my sophomore year of college, and found that some of her best moments can accurately describe the start of the school year.

1. When your advisor tells you that you should declare a major soon.

2. Seeing the lost and confused freshmen and remembering that was you a short year ago, and now being grateful you know the ins and outs of the campus.

3. Going to the involvement fair to sign up for more clubs knowing that you are already too involved.

4. When you actually do the reading required for the first class.

5. Seeing your friends for the first time since last semester.

6. When you're already drowning in homework during syllabus week.

7. Realizing you don't have the same excitement for classes as you did as a freshman.

8. Going home and seeing people from high school gets weirder the older you get.
