What It’s About: Rudy is just an ordinary kid until he discovers a gift: magic chalk. With the help of his magic chalk, Rudy can draw portals and enter a world filled with characters that have been erased.


3. "My Life As A Teenage Robot"

What It’s About: Jenny Wakeman, also known as XJ-9, is a teenaged robot whose main objective is to protect the city. Jenny’s friends Brad and Tuck help Jenny to fulfill her desire to be who she wants, a ~normal~ teenage girl, all while saving the city from disaster.

What It’s About: This mockumentary follows the lives of Nat and Alex Wolff as they rehearse and perform with their band. Their dad and other band members also star and guide Nat and Alex through their preteen years.

What It’s About: "JONAS" follows the brothers (you guessed it) Nick, Kevin, and Joe Jonas. This charmingly funny sitcom was inspired by The Beatles’ "A Hard Day's Night" and "The Monkees." The portrayals of Joe as goofy, Kevin as quirky, and Nick as dreamy sought out to show a more grounded and real side of the extremely popular boy band.


8. "American Dragon: Jake Long"

Original Run: 2006-2007

What It’s About: Thirteen year old Jake Long is a descendant of dragons, but must keep this huge family secret from his teachers and peers. Along with balancing a regular teenage life, Jake must also achieve his training in becoming the first American Dragon.

What It’s About: Dave, along with his two sisters Candy and Fang and wizard uncle, must run and protect their kingdom while their parents are away fighting evil.

What It’s About: This cartoon sitcom takes place in the fictional town of Ocean Shores, California. It revolves around a group of kids, Otto Rocket, Regina “Reggie” Rocket, Sam Dullard, and Maurice “Twister” Rodriguez, who enjoy pending their time playing extreme sports like surfing and skateboarding.


14. "Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends"

What It’s About: Mac is an average eight year old boy whose best friend is an imaginary friend named Bloo. Mac’s mother urges him to abandon Bloo but Mac discovers an orphanage that houses imaginary friends until they are adopted by new children. Bloo moves into the home, but as long as Mac visits everyday, Bloo is safe from adoption.


15. "The Total Drama Series"

Original Run: 2008-2014

What It’s About: The Total Drama series consists of five seasons, all with different words added to the end of the original title (Total Drama Island, Total Drama Action). The characters all have distinct quirks and personalities and compete for the winning spot. The cartoon parodies the dramatic sequence of events that typically happen on reality television, most similar to Survivor, Fear Factor, and The Amazing Race.


16. "6teen"

Network: Nickelodeon (Season 1), The N (Seasons 1-3), Cartoon Network

Original Run: 2005-2010

What It’s About: "6teen" follows the cast of six friends, all with part time jobs at the mall in which the show takes place. The friends deal with crushes, their first jobs, bank accounts, and everything else terrible about teenage life.

What It’s About: This stop motion claymation features two teenage boys, Josh and Parker, who work at a fast food restaurant in hopes of saving enough money to make a movie. This show was also guaranteed to give you the worst nightmares as a kid.

For those of you who have watched "Gossip Girl" before (and maybe more than just once), you know how important of a character Blair Waldorf is. Without Blair, the show doesn’t have any substance, scheme, or drama. Although the beginning of the show started off with Blair’s best friend Serena returning from boarding school, there just simply is no plot without Blair. With that being said, Blair’s presence in the show in much more complex than that. Her independent and go-getter ways have set an example for "Gossip Girl" fans since the show started and has not ended even years after the show ended. Blair never needed another person to define who she was and she certainly didn’t need a man to do that for her. When she envisioned a goal, she sought after it, and took it. This is why Blair’s demeanor encompasses strong women like her.
