17 Truths About Big/Little Reveals
Madeline Ulrich

Its about that time of the year when recruitment time settles down, all the chapters welcome in their new members, and big/little reveal is just around the corner.

Last year, I was lucky enough to take my little and I have to say, the entire week up until reveal when I found out she was my little, was probably the most stressful week of my college career. Not only am I mediocre at crafting, I'm a perfectionist that can barely paint, and the least girly person you will ever meet so crafting is the most stressful thing in the world.

To all the future bigs that are crafting for their littles here are some things that you can all relate to:

1. Thinking your crafty trying to do all the Pinterest crafts and then you pick up a paint brush and you realize you have no idea what your doing.

2. Glitter gets EVERYWHERE and it will never leave no matter how many times you clean.

3. Rhinestones become your worst nightmare.

4. Sleep? What's Sleep?

5. Mod Podge is a life saver.

6. There is nothing wrong with tracing.

7. Your think you're a pretty cool person until you have to write your clues and you blank on everything about yourself.

8. At 2 am that canvas looked great... 9 a.m. maybe rethink that thought.

9. Seeing your little on campus and having to refrain from calling her "little."

10. Constant runs to Michael's and Jo-Ann's it's more like your second home.

11. Spending HOURS picking out Big/Little shirts.

12. Sneaking into your little's room to leave the clues thinking you're a ninja but you're actually a bull in a China Shop.

13. Contemplating if you love your little enough to keep crafting.

14. Tie blankets are the enemy.

15. Finally going to reveal and totally surprise your little that you're her big.

16. Seeing the look on her face when she sees you and realizing all of the painful hours of crafting was totally worth it.

17. Knowing that you made the right decision by taking a little and you will love her forever.

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.
