Prepping for an upcoming exam is possibly one of the most stressful things you can experience in college, considering tests most likely carry the majority of the weight of your overall grade, and there are usually only two to three per semester. My thought process while preparing for an exam I have usually goes something like this:
- OMG there’s so much material.
- I can do this.
- I’ll just take a 5-minute study break.
- Maybe 5 more minutes.
- Okay it’s been half an hour I really need to study.
- Wow I’m so screwed.
- OKAY I gotta focus now.
- *calculates maximum sleep I will be getting tonight*
- I should order insomnia cookies to help me get through this.
- I can’t do this.
- I don’t think this much material can physically fit into my brain.
- Wait, I think I actually understand this.
- Now I gotta review because I just forgot all of it
- I’m so nervous.
- I can’t wait for this to be over
- Let’s hope this goes well.
- I’m definitely taking a nap after this.
