Okay, so it's pretty obvious that the week between Christmas and New Year's is a pretty crazy time all around. Malls are packed. Time between the two holidays seems nonexistent. Plans seem to be up-in-the-air. In all of the time in between these two holidays, there are thoughts that we all tend to have as we're patiently going through the week. Yet, some of the best thoughts come to those who venture to the mall the days following Christmas:
1. What day is it?
2. Should I go to the mall?
3. It took me fifteen minutes to find a parking spot...
4. Is this really worth it?
5. You stand in line while I grab something?
6. This gift card has a pin number?
7. Where's my sister?
8. She better not have the last of that...
9. I need that dress. It's on the mannequin, but I need it.
10. Wait- I think I have a coupon for that...
11. It's starting to get really warm in here...
12. I'm definitely forgetting something.
13. Oh god, I still need something to wear for New Year's Eve!
14. How long have we been here?
15. Where did I park?
16. Found it!
17. Okay, that's enough for now...
So here's to the week between New Year's Eve and Christmas and the numerous shopping trips in between. Many hopes and blessings to those taking on the lines and lack of parking at the mall during this time.
