I never am one to make resolutions, for I know it would only last a week before I start to fall back into my bad habits. This year, however, I've composed a list of 17 simple 'changes' or mindsets I'd like to make for the new year:
1. Accept what is; don't force what is not.
2. Be spontaneous.
3. Worry less.
4. Laugh more.
5. Stop overthinking.
6. Don't give up.
7. Speak up.
8. Stop avoiding things.
9. Don't be stubborn.
10. Ask for help when it is needed.
11. Love yourself first.
12. Think about how your actions might affect not just your life, but others.
13. Cut out the people in your life who do not bring you happiness.
14. Don't dwell on the negatives.
15. Find the sun behind the clouds. It's there.
16. Let go of the grudges.
17. Spend more time in nature.
