Because let's face it, the Sun hates me.

Mom: Don’t forget to re-apply sun screen every couple of hours.

Me: Don’t worry, I won’t.

Me: *too busy living life to follow instructions*

Me:

We've all been there. This time of year everyone is trying to get their dose of sunshine before the sun goes back into hiding for half of the year. The phrase "fun in the sun" perfectly describes everyone's summer goals. If you are lucky enough to get a day off of work in the summer, there is no doubt that you won't be attempting to spend it outdoors.

That being said, the sun doesn't quite love everybody the same way. Each person has a different way of reacting to sunshine. Despite my love for the sunshine and the outdoors, my typical reaction to the sun is a sunburn. Tragic, I know.

Here are 17 common thoughts I have while dealing with sunburns.

1. Wow this hurts!!!!!!!!

2. I am going to be a lobster, there is no doubt about it.

3. Do you think I could fit my entire body in a freezer?

4. Do I buy the aloe vera gel or the aloe vera lotion?

5. Should I just buy both?

6. I wonder how soon I'll start peeling?

7. Wow, the gel and lotion are both pretty pricey.

8. Everyone is staring at my burnt face right now.

9. Wow this still really hurts.

10. Wow kind stranger, thanks for telling me I look like I have a sunburn, I didn't realize!

11. Why does skin peel? I feel like a snake right now.

12. Thanks grandma for tagging me in another "How to heal a sunburn" article on Facebook, super duper helpful information.

13. How do people live in Florida? Or Hawaii? This is absurd.

14. Since I've bought both the lotion and the gel, when do I use each?

15. Is there an aloe vera bath bomb at Lush?

16. My friend just tagged me in an "aloe vera ice cube" video, this is the kind of information I need!!

17. I could really go for an ice cream cone right now, but if I drop it, I'll forever be remembered as the fat guy from Lilo and Stitch.

The Battle Between College And My Mental Health

College isn't easy, and I'm afraid I'm not going to make it at the rate my mental health is going.

Everyone tells you that college is hard, but they fail to explain why. Sure, classes are hard. Math sucks, and political science can be so boring. But that's not even what's killing me about college. What's killing me about college is my deterioating mental health.

As a college student, I feel as if people don't understand just how exhausted I, and fellow college students are. We have so many things going on, all the time, and sometimes it's hard to explain to people how we feel. Personally...I'm tired. I'm sad. And I'm struggling every single day with my emotions. But the thing is, it hasn't always been this way. I haven't always hated school, so why am I feeling like this now?

Resting b***h face. Defined as a person, usually a girl, who naturally looks mean when her face is expressionless, without meaning to. Many of you suffer from this "condition."
