If you don't live within a 5 mile radius you probably have never heard of our beautiful small town. For those of us who live in this small town, we all pretty much know each other and we know about the things that make this town special. If you grew up here, you definitely need to check this out, because it's a walk down memory lane.

PS: I'm sorry to my friends for these pictures that are resurfacing, I know these were uncomfortable times for us.

1. You've taken "artsy" pictures here at this "secret" spot.

2. The day you were finally old enough to walk to the center was the best day of your life.

3. You attended S.C.R.A.M during the summer.

4. You were probably a girl scout or boy scout.

5. Which means you probably went to a father-daughter dance held at the most prestigious facility: The Noecker Gym.

6. The Halloween Parade meant you needed to make the best Halloween costume imaginable.

7. You probably played Rec sports, so you've taken one of these pictures before.

8. The softball/baseball opening day ceremonies were intense because you wanted your team's banner to win.

9. You thought about who you were going to be at the Wax Museum for years prior.

10. You've walked the path behind Noecker and have been absolutely terrified.

11. You were scared to graduate from Noecker where there was about 60-80 kids in your class and move onto West Essex.

12. You have to mention towns close by when explaining where Roseland is, because most people haven't heard of it.

13. You've been to a "dad's softball game" and played at the Harrison field before.

14. Trick-or-treating on Monroe Ave meant you got a huge amount of candy every year.

15. You've spent summer days pool hopping and summer nights playing manhunt.

16. You call this game by its proper name "Four Square".

17. We're the town where Cash Cash grew up and we tell everyone about it.

18. You've taken a field trip here.

After working retail seasonally, here are a few tips that I learned in order to make the employees at your favorite store just a little happier and not want to charge you extra on your purchase for being awful. 5 Untold Struggles Of The Short Friend

I'm the Short Friend. I've been the Short Friend since about the seventh grade. I'm the one who stands in the front of the photos, gets made fun of for their height, and still shops in the kids department.

This article is not for the Almost Short Friends, i.e. the 5'3" and 5'4" Friends. No no, this is for the Actually Short Friends, i.e. the Barely Scraping 5'1" and shorter Short Friends.

Youtube

This semester I started my journey as a member of my University's Alumni Outreach Team.
