There’s something special about being in this tiny town in South Carolina. Whether you come to Clemson on a gameday in the Fall or on a sweltering, Summer day, Clemson is a truly amazing place. If you’re a Clemson Tiger, you’ll know these __ things to be true.

1. Your closet is full of orange and purple

2. The Tiger is your favorite animal


3. The Tiger mascot is your favorite person

He’s the perfect symbol to get you pumped up for game day. He’s great with kids and is always willing to take photos.


4. Walking across campus is your “leg day”

There is something in these hills - and it’s muscle gain. If you’re a Clemson Tiger you know that walking across campus is a major workout.


5. Hearing the Tiger Band is music to your ears

Having an amazing band on game days adds to the atmosphere. Hearing them play the alma mater is the perfect ending to a game - win or lose.

6. The fall is your favorite time of year

Clemson football, tailgating, not to mention the beautiful scenery on campus, could you ask for a better time of year?


7. You’ve mastered how to deal with the weather

One day it’s 70 degrees, sunny, and all around beautiful. The next is 35 degrees and snow is falling. In the morning, it’s freezing. By afternoon, you’re sweating walking across campus. Being in Clemson, you’ve mastered how to prepare for the unpredictable weather.


8. You never miss a cadence count

C-L-E-M-S-O-N T-I-G-E-Rrrrr-S Fight Tigers! Fight Tigers! Fight fight fight! If you’re not leading the cadence’s count, you’re screaming it.


9. You know that Dabo is a gift from God

He’s classy, kind, and the best damn coach in the country.


10. Parking services makes you want to suck it up and walk to campus

There’s never any parking available, and when there is, you somehow manage to get a ticket.


11. You care more about getting your TTT’s shirt on your 21st birthday than actually drinking


12. Your Clemson family means the world to you

If you’re a Clemson Tiger, you know the meaning of being a part of the Clemson Family. They’re your support system and they’ve got your back no matter what.


13. Getting your class ring is one of your top motivators to continue studying

Not only is it beautiful, but the symbolism behind your class ring will make all the all-nighters worth it.


14. You opt to study abroad in the Spring semester so you don’t miss football season

15. You seriously consider sticking around for an extra semester to get one more football season


16. You take solid orange Friday very seriously

17. You wouldn’t want to go to school anywhere else.

Clemson is home, it’s your family, and it will hold a special place in your heart long past graduation.
