Netflix is easily one of the most successful businesses in the nation. It provides college students with daily procrastination and families with quality entertainment. However, Netflix could be easily improved in 2017 by adding these great shows.
1. The Big Bang Theory
The Big Bang Theory is TV's number 1 comedy and is now in its tenth season. The contrast of Sheldon's nerdy, socially awkward demeanor and Penny's popular, confident personality sets the stone for the best comedy on TV today. Netflix would be doing us all a favor by adding it.
2. Modern Family
Modern Family flows in a very similar fashion to shows like The Officeand Parks and Recreation in the show is filmed like a documentary with character interviews throughout the episode. It follows the life of America's modern family: the traditional family, a gay couple, and the grandfather who married into a new family. Seeing the success of The Office on Netflix shows that Modern Family would be another great success.
3. NCIS: Los Angeles
The first spin-off of TV's number 1 drama is a huge success. The storyline goes its own direction from the original NCIS, but the storylines still cross paths from time to time. This will be a great addition for the NCIS fans looking for a new show to watch.
4. NCIS: New Orleans
If you have the other two shows, you might as well complete the NCIS package.
5. Old Disney Channel Shows
That's So Raven, Even Stevens, Kim Possible, Hannah Montana, Boy Meets World, etc. Any millennial would binge watch all of them.
6. Drake and Josh
Drake and Josh are two step brothers who are exact opposites. Throughout the series, the two brothers get into crazy situations while fighting with each other or being manipulated by their little sister Megan (Miranda Cosgrove). This great show is missed by twenty-somethings everywhere.
7. iCarly
After Drake & Josh, Miranda Cosgrove led the cast of this successful teen sitcom. It follows three friends as they go throughout their day to day lives while having a world renown internet show at night entitled "iCarly". Similar to the old Disney shows, any millennial will binge watch this for a nice throwback.
8. Full House
We already have Fuller House, why not have a throwback to the original?
9. Golden Girls
Two words: Betty White
10. Seinfeld
Seinfeld was one of the original sitcoms. Before Friends or How I Met Your Mother even hit the screen, Seinfeld showed viewers what it was like for singles to live in New York City.
11. The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air
Will Smith, an awesome theme song, and the Carlton makes for a Netflix worthy sitcom.
12. Castle
Being one of the most successful crime shows, Castle deserves to be on Netflix. Rick Castle is a successful mystery author who is put on a case with detective Kate Beckett when someone begins to reenact the murders in his books. The two continue to work together after the case and show an unlikely partnership in fighting crime.
13. 24
This thriller crime series is like no other show before it. An entire 24 season is compiled of ONE day, which means every episode is played in real time. The show follows a counterterrorism agent named Jack Bauer and all of the battles he has to fight every day.
14. Smallville
Smallville is an interpretation of young Superman's story. The show went on for ten seasons and included other superheroes, such as The Green Arrow, Aquaman, and The Flash.
15. Law and Order (The Original)
Law and Order: Special Victims Unit's predecessor is one SVU fans would be interested to watch. Compiled of 20 seasons, Law and Order will definitely keep you busy.
16. ER
Before Grey's Anatomywas even put into thought, George Clooney led a cast of emergency room specialists.
17. Brooklyn Nine Nine
This new cop show comedy is a nice twist from the crime dramas typically seen on TV. The show is currently in its fourth season.
