If you are anything like me, then you are absolutely in love, maybe even a little obsessed with "One Tree Hill."

Throughout the nine seasons of the show, you go on an emotional roller coaster that you most likely didn’t want to get off of. You felt a connection with the characters and always found yourself wishing that you lived in Tree Hill.

With such a variety of relatable situations, it’s difficult to not find a solution to all of your problems with all of the life lessons that this show brings. Despite the fact that this show has been off air for almost five years, these quotes will never fail to give you some guidance or maybe even warm your heart.

1. “At this moment there are 6,470,818,671 people in the world. Some are running scared. Some are coming home. Some tell lies to make it through the day. Others are just now facing the truth. Some are evil men, at war with good. And some are good, struggling with evil. Six billion people in the world. Six billion souls. And sometimes – all you need is one.” – Peyton Sawyer

2. “The rest of your life is being shaped right now. With the dreams you chase, the choices you make, and the person you decide to be. The rest of your life is a long time – and the rest of your life starts right now.” – Haley James Scott

3. “I don’t really think people can change, you know, at the end of the day you are who you are and it’s probably who you’ve always been.” – Brooke Davis

4. “And if you’re lucky, if you’re the luckiest person on this entire planet, the person you love decides to love you back.” – Nathan Scott

5. “If you’re always looking for reasons not to be with somebody, then you’ll always find them. Sometimes you just need to let go and give your heart what it deserves.” – Lucas Scott

6. “Who knows where life will take you? The road is long, and in the end, the journey is the destination.” – Whitey Durham

7. “That’s where they get you…thinking you got a choice. Love finds you, son. You don’t find love.” – Gus

8. “Because it’s only when you’re tested that you truly discover who you are. And it’s only when you’re tested that you discover who you can be. The person that you want to be does exist, somewhere on the other side of hard work and faith, and in belief and beyond the heartache and fear of what life has.” – Lucas Scott

9. “Happiness comes in many forms – in the company of good friends, in the feeling you get when you make someone else’s dream come true, or in the promise of hope renewed. It’s okay to let yourself be happy because you never know how fleeting that happiness might be.” – Lucas Scott

10. “It’s the oldest story in the world. One day you’re 17 and planning for someday. And then quietly and without you ever really noticing, someday is today. And then someday is yesterday. And this is your life.” – Nathan Scott

11. “It’s the rule of life, whatever crap you pull always catches up to you. It’s part of the game.” – Mouth

12. “I think we got one life, one chance and what we do with it is up to us.” – Peyton Sawyer

13. “Sometimes I think we waste our words and we waste our moments, and we don’t take the time to say things that are in our hearts when we have the chance.” – Clay Evans

14. “People are going to label you. It’s how you overcome those labels, that’s what matters.” – Brooke Davis

15. “Sometimes people have to cry out all their tears, to make room for a heart full of smiles.” –Jamie Scott

16. “You need to let go of whatever is it that makes you feel like you’re not good enough.” – Mouth

17. “Make a wish and place it in your heart. Anything you want, everything you want. Do you have it? Good. Now believe it can come true. You never know where the next miracle is gonna come from, the next smile, the next wish come true. But if you believe that it’s right around the corner, and you open your heart and mind to the possibility of it, to the certainty of it, you just might get the thing you’re wishing for. The world is full of magic, you just have to believe in it. So make your wish. Do you have it? Good. Now believe in it with all your heart.” – 'One Tree Hill' Cast

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
