The first week back to school is an Olympic event in itself: unpacking, settling in, buying textbooks, finding classes, catching up with friends and numerous other activities. It's just a lot. And going back to school is just a ball of mixed emotions. You're excited to be (finally) out of the 'rents' house for the summer or moved out of that dreadful apartment for your internship and back in the university scene. But now you have to deal with not having a stocked fridge and someone to help you do your laundry (shutout to moms everywhere). And you're moving back to school to go back to class, right? Oh yeah, right. College is about getting a degree...Luckily, we have some images that can accurately describe what you're going through while keeping up with the latest Olympic craze.

1. The excitement of being back at school

You nearly can't contain yourself. It was nice being home at the beginning of the summer but the time has finally come.

2. Seeing your college friends for the first time in m o n t h s.

Three months is just too long to be away. If you still talk to your high school friends, you love 'em, but your school friends are just a different story.

3. Going out for the first time with everyone.

The summer party scene was just not the same without the ole college gang.

4. And then telling your friends at 11:30 that you're thinking about going home early.

Because it's been a while since you've shotgunned 5 beers, had 3 tequila shots and a handle pull of Taaka just during the pregame.

5. Realizing that you're back at school to go to class.

6. But then remember you're going to rock it this semester anyway.

7. When you find out you and your best friend have the same class together and you will be unstoppable this semester.

8. When your professor says the final exam is not cumulative.

9. But then says he doesn't curve exams.

10. And that the final group project is worth 40 percent of your grade.

11. And that group members will be assigned.

Like really. Is this necessary.

12. And suddenly the semester is coming at you like this.

13. And you end up sitting in the library as your friends go out every night without you.

14. So you just walk to class like this...

Constantly avoiding the all too eager freshman...

15. When the person next to you flips over the first page of the exam before you...

Is this kid serious? There's no way he finished before you.

16. The face you make when the professor congratulates the class on having the highest test average but you failed.

17. But C's get degrees, so whatever it's fine.
