One of my favorite times of the Christmas season is when "A Charlie Brown Christmas" is aired. This special was first aired on December 9th, 1965. This was actually the very first Peanuts special ever aired on television. It was an immediate classic, and received outstanding reviews. It was also so widely received, that the special won an Emmy award, a Peabody award, and the soundtrack was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame. Ever since it first aired in 1965, it has been shown on TV every year. Last year, the special celebrated its 50th anniversary.

There are so many iconic moments in this special. The tree. Linus' speech on the meaning of Christmas. Charlie Brown's doubt of Christmas. The music. All of these aspects and many more helped make "A Charlie Brown Christmas" into a television classic. It is truly a piece of art in my eyes. This special also kicked off the many years of Peanuts' television specials, such as "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown and A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving." In the legacy of the Peanuts, "A Charlie Brown Christmas" truly stands out as a classic. These are 17 standout moments in the special.

1. The ice skating scene

2. Charlie Brown's sarcastic comment to Violet

Glad he stood up to her!

3. Snoopy mocking Lucy

4. Charlie Brown's therapy session with Lucy

I wish therapy were five cents!

5. Snoopy's dog bowl skills

6. Charlie Brown's direction orders

7. The uses of Linus' blanket

Is there anything he can't do with that blanket?!

8. Lucy's five reasons why Linus needs to be a Shepard

"Those are some pretty good reasons."

9. Schroder's piano playing

10. Charlie Brown and Linus' stoop talk

11. The dancing scene--is there anything better than that?

12. The iconic Christmas tree

13. Snoopy dancing!

14. Linus' speech on the true meaning of Christmas

"I bring you tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people."

15. Snoopy's first place prize in the Christmas decorating contest

16. The Peanuts gang comes together to give the tree a little love

17. "Merry Christmas, Charlie Brown!"

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!

There is nothing quite like family.

Family is kinda like that one ex that you always find yourself running back to (except without all the regret and the angsty breakup texts that come along with it).

No matter how long your class is, there's always time for the mind to wander. Much like taking a shower or trying to fall asleep, sitting in a classroom can be a time when you get some of your best ideas. But, more than likely, you're probably just trying to mentally cope with listening to a boring lecturer drone on and on. Perhaps some of the following Aristotle-esque thoughts have popped into your head during class.

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.
