New Year, New Me? Yeah right.

New Year, New Me. *Rolls eyes* Yeah, okay. I get it. Its overused. So instead of a "new me", I'm going to make a list of goals. 17 Goals for 2017. I'm going to make 2017 way better than 2016 was. It may not be the most glamorous goals, but they are goals none the less.

1. Get to know my friends better.

2. Read a bunch of books.

3. Pet a puppy.

4. Don't get super hung up on grades.

5. Learn something new about myself.

6. Do something fun once a week at least.

7. Write a book.

8. Do something on my bucket list.

9. Binge watch a whole show in a week.

10. Go on an adventure.

11. Make sure people know that I love them.

12. Work on becoming a better person.

13. Learn a new language.

14. Be with my family often.

15. Cuddle a kitten.

16. Sleep in.

17. Be happy.

Dear High School Friend Group,

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.

Oh college, we can’t live with you, but we can’t live without you. It’s a love/hate relationship, really. College is an experience that no one can ever prepare you for, and maybe that’s a good thing. You never really expect any of the things that college encompasses until you are there. College is fun, but don’t have too much fun. C’s get degrees, but they don’t get you into graduate school.
