I have always hated it when people tell me to "Enjoy college, it goes by so quickly," because at the moment, no, it does not go quickly.

But looking back, yeah, it did fly by. A lot has happened in these three years, and I am ready for graduation and to start my career. It's also hard to believe that I am actually a senior and graduating in a matter of months.

So, here are 17 things I have already thought as a senior in college.

1. "Wow, summer flew by."

2. "I am not ready to graduate."

3. "Actually, yes I am."

4. "Can they walk faster?! Oh, my GOD!"

5. "I do not want to do any more icebreakers."

6. "Should I buy books this semester?"

7. "I hate this class so much already."

8. "How am I already behind?"

9. "I do not care about Campus Fest this year."

10. "Ugh, I hate sororities and frats."

11. "Is it too early to skip class?"

12. "I just want to hang out with my friends."

13. "I don't want to make dinner tonight."

14. "Did I even eat dinner last night?"

15. "How am I going to live on my own next year?"

16. "That's a future me problem."

17. "I am so close to the end."

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
