As February rolls around and March gets closer and closer, our New Year's resolutions or our goals for 2017 might begin to change as our motivation decreases. What shouldn't change, however, is your faith and your trust in Jesus. For that reason, here are seventeen bible verses for 2017 that will hopefully inspire you to keep being the true Christian you are and remind you of exactly what you need to hear.

1. "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters." Colossians 3:23

God has given each of us talents that we can use to give back to Him in return. We can use our work and our talents to worship Him daily.

2. "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

We have to remember that Jesus' sacrifice that he made for us is greater than anything. Even though we were sinners, his death washed them all away. That's something to praise God for.

3. "In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deed and glorify your Father in heaven." Matthew 4:16

It is our job as Christians to spread the word and continue God's ministry on earth. Be the light that He wants you to be with your actions and your words.

4. "Set your mind on things above, not on earthly things." Colossians 3:2

Nothing on this earth is as great as eternity in heaven. This is our temporary home, and we must use it to show God that we are worthy of what God has planned for us after life.

5. "Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails." Proverbs 19:21

You can make all the plans you want in life, but God's plan comes first. His way is always greater anyways, so you have nothing to worry about. God gives his toughest battles to his strongest people.

6. "Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord." Psalm 27:14

Waiting isn't always easy, but it is worth it. God has everything under control, but it will happen on His time. In the meantime, be patient and strong, and it will only benefit you in the long run.

7. "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." Philippians 4:6

Prayer is more powerful than we will ever know. Instead of worrying, pray to God. He will hear you.

8. "Jesus replied, 'You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.'" John 13:7

Have I stressed God's timing enough? This verse makes you feel like Jesus is talking directly to you. Even when we are confused or struggling with what we believe to be God's plan, we must trust him. Understanding will come.

9. "I will go before you and will level the mountains." Isaiah 45:2

God will show you the way if you let him. Any mountain ahead of you, He can move. Any windy, crooked road, He can straighten. Do not let life overwhelm you so that you forget this verse.

10. "He must become greater; I must become less." John 3:30

You are always second. There is nobody greater than our God, and we must always take a step back and reflect on just how powerful He is and how little we are.

11. "He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God." Micah 6:8

These three ways can help you show God of your commitment and faith: act justly, love mercy and walk humbly.

12. "'Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.'" Mark 5:34

Faith is strong. When all else fails, continue to have faith in God. He just might heal you of your suffering in return.

13. "The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him." Lamentations 3:25

Always stay hopeful in His word. Seek God out, and He will show you just how good He is.

14. "Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her!" Luke 1:45

We may not always see how God is working, but he always is. We must believe in that, and God will keep his promises to us.

15. "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." Deuteronomy 31:6

No matter the enemy or the task ahead, God is with you. He won't leave you hanging, so remember that you can always count on Him.

16. "Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Remember this verse when you are living our your daily lives. Nothing should come before your time with the Lord.

17. "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you." 1 Peter 5:7

Constantly remind yourself that there is nothing greater than God's love for you. He cares more about each of us than we know, and we must leave our anxieties up to Him.

The Bible is filled with so many more verses of wisdom and love, but these 17 are just a few reminders of what our lives with God should look like. I know I need a reminder of these verses on my hardest days but also on my best days. There is no one like our God who will carry us through life if we let Him. As I've heard so often, "Let go, and let God."

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
