It's a scary world out there.

16 Warning Signs It's Been Too Long Since You Last Left Your House

1. You make up an excuse for anything.

2. You start justifying everything you do.

“I can watch two more episodes of 'Game of Thrones/Orange is the New Black/One Tree Hill' because I walked the dog six hours ago.”

3. Showering is more of a time consuming activity than a hygienic chore.

4. You find yourself constantly in the way of your housekeeper.

5. You can't watch Netflix anymore because you've already seen everything twice.

6. Instagram and Snapchat aren’t refreshing as fast as you need to stay entertained.

7. Time is calculated by the last time you ate.

8. You've gotten a cavity from playing too much Candy Crush. You know it’s bad if you’ve re-downloaded Temple Run too.

9. You can feel your pets judging you.

10. Back stalking yourself on Facebook used to be fun, but now it makes you depressed to see how much skinnier you were, and to be reminded of all the people you haven’t spoken to since signing their yearbook #HAGS.

11. You're more interested in your mom’s gossip from her weekly mahjong game than your own gossip. Mostly because finding out gossip would require you to engage in conversation.

12. All that’s left to eat are toppings, dressings, spreads, etc. because you've eaten everything they're supposed to go on. So you start eating them plain.

13. Signing for the package the mailman dropped off was the closest thing to human contact since your dad left for work this morning, because no, the conversations you've been having with yourself do not count.

14. You're bored of being bored.

15. You debate running an errand or meeting a friend to get food.

16. Then your mom calls to ask what you've been doing all day, and you lie, not because you're ashamed, but because if you tell people you did something then that’s almost the same thing as actually doing it.

Well, there's always tomorrow.

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
