21 Times Drake Describes College Perfectly

We all love Drake, it's just a fact. From his platinum albums to his numerous number one singles he has really done it all. It's safe to say Drake is the Justin Bieber of rap music with each album getting better and better. So with all of Drake's success in the last few years, it just seems appropriate to let him describe the best four years of ours. If you're still reading this, it's too late to stop here.

When you're one of the first people at a party and you're trying to find people you know

When you see your crush at the gym and try to act casual

When your friends ask you to go out and you have a 7am class the next day

But you're persuadable so you go out anyways

And the next morning you regret your decisions to stay out until 2 am and get Taco Bell

When your professor waits until the week of the final to mention that it is cumulative

When all three of your halloweekend costumes are basic

When you have to start making appointments by yourself and are so confused because your mom always took care of this

When it's week 9 of the quarter and all that procrastinating that you did finally catches up to you

But somehow you miraculously pull off passing all of your classes even though you never thought it could be done and you feel so accomplished

When you check the scale and realize you got that freshman 15 that you swore to yourself you would never get. You vowed that you would be the only one of your friends to not get it; you were wrong.

When you make eye contact from across the room with your best friend who is flirting with a really cute guy

When your professor doesn't think you're paying attention to the lecture and calls on you to answer their question but you actually get it right

Taking snapchats of all the funny things your roommates do to send to your friends back home

When you realize you have friends in your class on the first day

When Dominos takes over an hour to deliver your pizza and gets your order wrong

Your friends at their 21st pregame before they go downtown and get absolutely annihilated

Your friend's face when you tell them what they did last night. "Yes.... you really did that. No I'm not making this up, I swear."

When that one friend who knew you before college starts telling all of your new friends embarrassing stories that you really wanted to stay back in high school

Whole. Squad. On. Fleek.

When graduation is approaching and its' time to trade in frat shirts with button downs

Thanks, Drake!

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. These are eleven thoughts that I have as a writer while writing my stories.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
