Watch with caution. The following are thoughts that every new Grey's fan experiences while becoming engulfed with their new love.

1. I was never into doctor shows. I probably wont like it.

I was wrong...very very wrong.

2. Wow, there are a lot of plot twists in this show.

Should've taken the stairs.

3. Now I know why people call him "McDreamy."

Hello there. I should go into pre-med, maybe even an emphasis on neuro.

4. Derek and Meredith are so cute.

Oh, wait, he's married. Shoot.

5. I think I should consider pre-med.

I could totally be a surgeon. Did I mention cute doctors?

6. Okay, seriously, people need to stop dying.

*wipes tears* How could so many bad things happen to a group of people?

7. When will McDreamy and Meredith get back together?

It's so clear they are still in love with each other everyone knows it!

8. Christina is my spirit animal.

She has a heart in there somewhere.... I think...

9. Meredith, your life would be so much easier if you just stopped pushing people away.

I mean come on, you nearly drowned yourself. LET DEREK IN.

10. OK, I have definitely seen the worst case now.

*One season later* nope wrong again. Is it safe to open my eyes?

11. If I split screen my laptop I can totally watch Grey's while writing this essay.

Gosh, I am so good at multi-tasking!

12. *Two hours later* OK, maybe this wasn’t such a good idea...

I mean who needs school when you have "Grey's?"

13. Sorry, mom, I can’t talk right now, I'm in the middle of a cholecystectomy.

14. They did not just kill off….

This is some kind of sick joke...right?!

15. Someone page neuro STAT.

Mainly because I want to see McDreamy again.

16. *Four seasons and one week later* Yup, definitely should not have started this show.

Well, there is no going back now. Bye society, see you in approximately 12 seasons.
