If you live in a small town, you definitely know these struggles and you've been there before. Whether it is actual obstacles in the road or just something happening in town, either way it will affect you because it is, in fact a small town.
1. You may or may not have a cop.
2. Instead of only having to avoid dogs or cats, you'll probably have to avoid chickens or other farm animals.
3. FFA is taken very seriously, it's a pretty big deal.
4. Traffic doesn't just include cars -- there are also tractors and the occasional person on a horse.
5. Your homecoming parade is the biggest event and the whole town is involved.
6. Football games are reserved for Friday nights and EVERYONE will be there.
7. Church is reserved for Sunday mornings and everyone will know if you don't go.
8. Everybody knows everyone, so don't think you can do anything secretive.
9. Your mom will know what you did before you even get home because, well, word travels fast in a small town.
10. There is always gossip.

12. You have to describe where you live by the nearest "big" town.
13. But who are you kidding, nobody will know where you live.
14. If someone does know where you live, you get way too excited because it's seldom that someone does.
15. To get groceries or do something fun, you'll have to travel at least 20 to 30 miles away.
16. Your graduating class could be as small as 20 people.
