16 Things I Did In 2016

With only a few weeks left in 2016 I decided to reflect on some of the things the year has brought me. A lot of things had changed for me this year and It was definitely one of the best years of my life so far.

This year I got to travel, move to college, and even make some new lifetime best friends who are better than anyone could hope for. Before we enter a brand new year, this is a list of the top 16 things I did in 2016.

1. Taught myself film photography

2. Went to Disneyland

3. Graduated high school

4. Went to Chicago

5. Turned 18

6. Got my cartilage pierced

7. Played Pokemon Go

8. Left my best friend to go to college

9. Moved to Ohio for college

10. Won The Amazing Race

11. Joined A Sorority

12. Got the best big and gbig ever

13. Went to a pumpkin farm

14. Held a baby bunny

15. Made a new awesome group of friends

16. Had a pre-christmas in dorms with friends

2016 you were a great year...bring it on 2017.

Don't waste your time trying to write that paper when there are so many more interesting things you could be doing.

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?
