Thanksgiving is near, which means it's time to get back in the kitchen. If you're like me, you probably pull all of your ideas off the internet. As cute as the little rice crispy turkeys and the pumpkin cookies look on your pinterest board - unless you're some kind of culinary artist, they always turn out to be a hot mess. So, if there's any advice this year: just stick to the basics. One thing I know I can be thankful for this year is that I'm not the only one who fails every attempt to imitate a pinterest dessert.

1. Not even sure what this is supposed to be.


2. Um, I'll pass.

3. Marshmallows and Apples... my favorite!

4. I guess if you look at it from a certain angle, it kind of looks like a turkey?

5. Nailed it.

6. Close enough.

7. Hey, I mean.. as long as they taste good.

8. Looks like this turkey is trotting it's way to the trash can.

10. I thought Halloween was supposed to be the scary Holiday?


11. I thought pumpkins were orange?

12. Ah, nothing like Thanksgiving spiders.

13. Beautiful cake, horrible spelling.
