1. Go skydiving

If you’re always looking for a new thrill, then this is definitely for you.

2. Create a blog

Summer is your time to explore, so why not tap into your creative side?

3. Actually try out the Tasty recipes

Red wine spaghetti anyone?

4. Have a wine night with friends

Paint each others nails, slather on some mud masks, and watch Jojo hunt for love on The Bachelorette.

5. Put a photo album together

There’s definitely something more sentimental about a photo album compared to a Facebook album.

6. Learn how to surf

As a native Californian, I don’t know why I haven't learned yet

7. Go to a concert or music festival

Drake is all I need.

8. Volunteer at a local food bank or animal shelter

Just giving a few hours of your time makes a huge difference in somebody else’s life. Plus, knowing you made someone else's life better is rewarding.

9. Conquer one of your fears

Whether it’s heights or the dark, the only way to overcome it, is to face it.

10. Have a bonfire

Invite your closest friends, roast marshmallows, and dance to your favorite music.

11. Stay up all night to watch the sunrise

The only rule is that you can’t sleep until the sun is up

12. Start a workout routine

There are no excuses as to why you can’t follow through this time around

13. Plan a road trip with friends

It doesn’t matter to where. Go across the state just to explore a new area, or visit friends in other cities. If you need an affordable place to crash, download Spots, a home sharing app designed for college students to find places to stay while away from home.

14. Go strawberry picking

It’s not just for little kids, and it’s way more fun than it sounds. I promise.

15. Go to a drive-in movie

Movie theaters are the usual. Spice it up.

16. Go 24 hours without your cell phone

If there is one thing on this list that I will not accomplish, it’s this one.

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
