Growing up in the mountains or on the plains of Denver, every Coloradian understands these 16 signs if you grew up in Colordao.

1. You know there is no place better to watch a concert than at Red Rocks.

2. You root for the Rockies every season no matter what their record is.

3. Climbing a 14'ner is not only a goal, but a right of passage.

4. During the winter, you know all the right moves for a snow dance in order to summon a snow day.

5. The only college football game that matters is the Rocky Mountain showdown between CU and CSU.

6. You know exactly where West is.

7. In the months from May to August, you expect Colorado to burst into wildfires and construction zones.

8. You'll wake up early to get a few runs in before work or school when there is more than a foot of new snow.

9. You know to expect a blizzard in May and don't blink an eye when it happens.

10. You pronounce mountains with a T.

11. Peyton Manning is the reason you buy Papa Johns Pizza.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.
