16 Rick Springfield Songs For When You Need An Instagram Caption

Do you ever go to post a picture on Instagram and say to yourself, “Wow, I could really go for a good lyric caption right now"? But, then you can’t think of one so you just post an emoji? Yeah, me too.

Well, for when you do run into that problem, Rick Springfield can be there to help! Springfield, a musician from Australia, is arguably one of the most influential singers of our time. Still on tour, he obviously knows what he’s doing. With some of his lyrics, your Instagram selfies can now be "straight fire," as the kids say these days.

1. "I know I'm living on the outside, scared of getting caught between." - Human Touch

For when you're feeling very emotional.

2. "I've done everything for you. You've done nothing for me." - I've Done Everything For You

For when you're really mad at someone.

3. "She's got the teeth, she knows how to bite." - Love Somebody

4. "Jessie's got himself a girl and I want to make her mine." - Jessie's Girl

Because come on, who doesn't know this song?

5. "And you got the power, it amazes me still." -Affair of The Heart

6. "I know the world's going crazy alright. I hope it holds together for one more night." - Love is Alright Tonite

For when you want to seem very deep.

7. "Baby, I can feel your heart beat, can't you feel the heat?" - I Get Excited

For when you take a selfie with the dog snapchat filter.

8. "Will you ever really know her?" - What's Victoria's Secret?

Because you're edgy.

9. "Don't talk to strange men, don't be a fool." - Don't Talk to Strangers

10. "Jesus, tell me is that what got me so twisted?" - Love Screws Me Up

11. "She was cold sometimes, but she made me feel alive." - What Kind of Fool Am I?

For the perfect couple selfie.

12. "Don't you think your friends are talking Alyson?" -Alyson

For when your name actually is Alyson.

13. "We're only human after all." - Don't Walk Away

Because we all make mistakes.

14. "Here's what I've found, love really makes the world go around." - Love Is The Key

Because it's actually true.

15. "It's all gonna come around someday." - Karma

16. "Of all the things I've said and done, I've burned the bridge and then some." - You & Me

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.

11 Times Aubrey Plaza Described Sophomore Year

"I don't want to do things. I want to do not things."

Aubrey Plaza is one of my favorite humans in Hollywood. She's honest, blunt, unapologetic, and hilarious. I just started my sophomore year of college, and found that some of her best moments can accurately describe the start of the school year.

1. When your advisor tells you that you should declare a major soon.

2. Seeing the lost and confused freshmen and remembering that was you a short year ago, and now being grateful you know the ins and outs of the campus.

3. Going to the involvement fair to sign up for more clubs knowing that you are already too involved.

4. When you actually do the reading required for the first class.

5. Seeing your friends for the first time since last semester.

6. When you're already drowning in homework during syllabus week.

7. Realizing you don't have the same excitement for classes as you did as a freshman.

8. Going home and seeing people from high school gets weirder the older you get.
