“For every laugh, there should be a tear.” - Walt Disney. Walt definitely made us laugh, so here are just a few moments that made us cry, too. These moments have stuck with us since we were children and now we can look back and say, "Thanks a lot, Walt".
1. Monsters, Inc., 2001
The moment when Sully has to say bye to Boo. What makes it worse is when Boo ran to the closet and opened it again to try to find him... so many tears.
2. The Fox and the Hound, 1981
Honestly, there are several very sad moments during this movie. Like when Widow Tweed has to release Todd into the wild.
3. Lilo and Stitch, 2002
"Ohana means family, and family means nobody gets left behind".
4. Tarzan, 1999
Who knew Phil Collins could cause this much pain?
5. Big Hero 6, 2014
"I am satisfied with my care".
6. Tangled, 2010
When the King and Queen of Corona are coping with another year without their daughter.
7.Tangled, 2010
And everything was going semi-okay up until this moment.
8. Up, 2009
Worst seven-cinematic minutes of my life. Yeah, you know this scene.
9. Lady and the Tramp, 1955
And Trusty had just gotten his scent back!
10. Beauty and the Beast, 1991
This plus the whole dialogue of, "You came back" and "don't leave me" and then the, "I love you" right as it's too late is just icing on the cake.
11. Bambi, 1942
One of the worst villains in Disney history and he didn't even have any screen time!!!!
12. Aladdin, 1992
When Genie and Aladdin said goodbye.
13.Wreck-It Ralph, 2012
“I’m bad, and that’s good. I will never be good, and that’s not bad. There’s no one I’d rather be than me”.
14. The Princess and the Frog, 2009
At least Ray was reunited with Evangeline.
15. The Lion King, 1994
If you can watch this scene without crying then I don't think I can trust you.
16.Dumbo, 1941
And, of course, the "Baby Mine" scene.
