It's the beginning of September, and many Americans are all pumped up for college football and the NFL. I so badly wish I was one of those people, but honestly football is boring AF. I go to a school where football is life, and I tried so hard to get into it but I just can't. Every year, I much prefer baseball from April to late October, and October to June is reserved for hockey, with some overlapping months mixed in there of both sports.

So right now, if you're a hockey fan, particularly, all you're thinking about is how many days there are until October, you might be watching the preseason games starting in September, and you're trying really hard not to bum football fans out with your "don't care" attitude about their sport.
