Lush Cosmetics is a fair trade, almost totally organic, non-animal testing cosmetics company. They make different shower and bath products for the face and body, plus hair products, perfumes and makeup, although the prices from products can range from under $5 to almost $90, plus wrapped gift boxes that can approach $100 and up. They use all natural ingredients in their products (some of them are even vegan) along side of their non-virgin, or recycled, packaging! I've been shopping at lush for nearly five years now, but it can be confusing when you first go in. The wonderful smells, bright colors and friendly employees hit you like a beautiful brick wall. So to ease the "Where do I start?!?!" feeling, this is my list of 16 products to start with at Lush Cosmetics.

Prices for each product can vary by location.

1. Honey Bee Bath Bomb.

Drop her in the bath and you will be smelling of toffee and honey. This best selling bath bomb is packed with fair-trade honey and Rhassoul mud from Morocco. Aloe vera makes the water feel like silk while the mud and honey cleanse and soften the skin for a smooth, sweet smelling soak. ($6.55 for 6.3 oz.)

2. Sakura Bath Bomb.

Mimosa and jasmine greet you when you drop this pastel dotted beauty into the bath. With a history of enjoying Japanese Blossom trees, this bath bomb gives you the sweet smell and calm feeling of spring. ($6.55 for 6.3 oz.)

3. Ultraviolet Bubble Bar.

When you crumble a piece of this cool-toned bar under running water, violet, jasmine and ylang ylang bring you into a calm, chill world. With the pretty purple water, you will feel like you're either achieving your dreams of being a mermaid, or you're in Professor Snape's Potions class. ($12.95 for 7.0 oz.)

4. Floating Island Bath Oil.

This solid oil smells of sandalwood, vanilla and lemon. The sweet scent relaxes you, while cocoa and shea butter make the water feel like a liquid gold bath. At only an inch tall, and maybe that wide, this little guy packs a powerful punch and leaves your skin super soft and smooth. ($3.95 for 0.7 oz.)

5. Honey I Washed The Kids Soap.

Honey and Caramel scented soap that makes you smell sticky sweet while making you squeaky clean. Honey water and aloe soften the skin, so in the end you smell good and feel good. ($7.95 for 3.5 oz.)

6. Happy Hippy Shower Gel.

Grapefruit juice and grapefruit water make you feel like you ate, well, a grapefruit! The sharp but sweet smell of Happy Hippy makes you ready for the day, no matter how early it may be. ($9.95 for 3.3 oz.)

7. Woosh Shower Jelly.

Weebles wobble but they don't fall down, and neither does Woosh Shower Jelly. The deceiving blue jelly smells of citrus. Lemon, lime and grapefruit to be exact. Cut it and store it in the freezer for a refreshing wash with every piece, or pinch a bit off while its in your bathroom. No matter how you use this squishy wiggly shower wash, you will be refreshed and ready to go after. ($6.95 for 3.5 oz.)

8. Rub Rub Rub Shower Scrub.

Rub Rub Rub Shower Scrub comes in two forms, a solid scrub and one slightly more liquid that comes in a tub (I prefer the tub.) Either way, the lemon and mimosa blossom scent mixed with the exfoliating sea salt will leave you smelling fresh and feeling smooth. ($22.95 for 11.5 oz.)

9. I love Juicy Shampoo.

Fresh fruit is good for lots of things. Health, your body, a snack and now your hair. The slightly acidic pineapple, mango and kiwi juices mop up extra oil. They work side by side with seaweed to soften and sea salt to add volume to make the perfect cocktail for happy healthy hair. ($9.95 for 3.3 oz.)

10. American Cream Conditioner.

Oranges to freshen, lavender for clarifying the scalp and honey to soften, Lush's best selling conditioner is a favorite year after year. The sweet vanilla and strawberry scent is wonderful on its own, while mixed with I Love Juicy shampoo, it smells like a sweet dessert for your head. ($9.95 for 3.3 oz.)

11. R&B Hair Treatment.

This hair moisturizer is more than just that. Tons of oils and butters tame the hair and sooth the scalp while orange blossoms and jasmine make for a pleasant smell. Can be used all over the head, but it works best by concentrating at the ends and smoothing the rest into locks to tame flyaway's. ($24.95 for 3.5 oz.)

12. Seanik Shampoo Bar.

Lush is known for its recycled, minimal or no packaging, depending on the product. Irish Moss and Japanese Nori seaweeds soften hair, lemon oils add shine and sea salt adds volume. Mimosa and jasmine oils scenting this bar make you feel like you're on a tropical island. ($11.95 for 1.9 oz.)

13. Angels on Bare Skin Face Cleanser.

Finely milled almonds and lavender mixed into a kaolin clay base cleanse and freshen the skin. The almonds and lavender buds gently exfoliate while lavender oils sooth skin for healthy, balanced skin. Take a pea sized amount, mix it with water, scrub gently and enjoy your beautiful face. ($13.95 for 3.5 oz.)

14. Breath of Fresh Air Toner Water.

Good for all skin, seawater gently cleanses the face while carrageen (a seaweed extract) softens the skin and provides the vitamins to help make your skin happy skin. One or four sprays directly on the face or dabbed on with a cotton pad are the most efficient way to apply this spray. ($10.95 for 3.3 oz.)

15. Imperialis Face Moisturizer.

Lavender oils balances and sooth skin. This oil helps oily skin reduce sebum production, while also helping dry areas produce sufficient amounts. while orange blossom water makes dull areas bright and glowing. The subtle smell leaves you refreshed throughout the day. ($25.95 for 1.5 oz.)

16. Don't Look At Me Fresh Face Mask.

You might look blue, but after this guy you won't be feeling blue. Ground rice particles exfoliate skin, murumuru butter moisturizes, tofu softens and lemon juice tones. Leave it on for 10-15 minutes before washing off. The smell is a little strong, but totally bearable. Plus, who wouldn't wanna look like a Smurf for a few minutes? This (and all other FRESH face masks) is only available in store, since they don't ship well with their short two-week shelf life. ($10.95 for 2.1 oz.)

Happy Lush-ing, my friends!

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

1995
The Great Christmas Movie Debate
Mental Floss

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas is one of my personal favorite holidays because of the Christmas traditions my family upholds generation after generation. After talking to a few of my friends at college, I realized that a lot of them don't really have "Christmas traditions" in their family, and I want to help change that. Here's a list of Christmas traditions that my family does, and anyone can incorporate into their family as well!

Does anybody know how to study

It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way. It’s finals, the dreaded time of the semester when we all realize we should have been paying attention in class instead of literally doing anything else but that. Everyone has to take them, and yes, unfortunately, they are inevitable. But just because they are here and inevitable does not mean they’re peaches and cream and full of rainbows. Surviving them is a must, and the following five phases are a reality for all majors from business to art, nursing to history.
