I don't know about you, but I embarrass myself on a daily basis, and it's okay! Embarrassing things happen to us all of the time, so we just have to learn how to laugh things off. Here are 16 embarrassing situations that everyone experiences at least once:
1. When you go to give your presentation, your mind goes totally blank and you can't remember anything you rehearsed.
2. The "OMG You're (Insert Celebrity Name Here)!" *Doesn't know what else to say, so you say something extremely weird or stupid.*
3. You text something horrible to the wrong group chat or accidentally send a text about someone to the person that the text is about.
4. Someone says hi to you and you have absolutely no idea who they are, so you call them "man," "buddy," "pal," "bro," "girl," or my personal favorite, "dude."
5. You wave or say hi to one of your friends but quickly realize that the person you said hi to was not your friend.
6. Your teacher asked you a question as you were daydreaming, so you had to ask her to repeat the question. At that point, everyone in the room was judging you.
7. You get caught staring at your crush, then you make a poor attempt to play it off like you were not specifically looking at her.
8. When you are so much more excited to see someone than they are to see you.
9. Waking up one morning to find out that you drunkenly texted someone something that you would have never said if you were sober.
10. Falling down in front a large group of people.
11. Accidentally farting in class or in a small, enclosed area.
12. When you publicly make fun of your friend because you think s/he will also think it's funny, but they get upset with you instead.
13. When you're mortified by the fact that your parents showed your significant other embarrassing baby pictures of you in your birthday suit and/or shared embarrassing childhood stories.
14. When you ask your parents not to embarrass you in front of your friends, but they embarrass you while attempting not to embarrass you.
15. When you rip your pants in public.
16. Announcing the wrong winner of a competition and failing to realize your mistake until two minutes later.
Actually, this only happened to Steve Harvey.
