After almost two years of being in college I figured it was about time for a "WHAT I LEARNED IN BOATING SCHOOL WAS..." article.

So, college taught me...

1. How to google and find the best gifs in about 5 seconds. There's practically a gif for everything.

2. How to make myself feel like I am being productive when I'm really not.

3. How I thought I was good at procrastinating in high school.... Psh, my high school self has nothing on me now.\

4. How to think for myself and form my own opinions on topics that I feel passionate about.

5. How to make a whole pizza last for 3 meals because I'm broke, don't get paid for another day, and desperate.

6. How to hide from my responsibilities.

7. How to become an awesome feminist woman in society.

8. How to educate a person without putting them down or making them seem like they are an idiot, even if I secretly think that they are.

9. How to really just not care about other peoples opinions, because I know I'm awesome and I do not need reassurance about that from anyone.

10. How to be truly awesome and come into my own skin and be comfortable in it.

11. How to make friends. And I don't mean the kind of friends that just call you when they need something or need a shoulder to cry on, I mean the true friends that come over at 9 pm at night just to watch comedy shows. These are the best friends who like you for who you really are, no strings attached.

12. How to make the most out of what you have and to be thankful for it.

13. How to build a better relationship with my parents and to appreciate them more.

14. How to be resourceful. Extremely resourceful........ Lets not get into details but I'm sure all you college kids understand. I raise my glass to you all.

15. How to follow every news page possible and still not know what's happening???? Honestly, I don't know how this happens. Maybe it's the type of news pages I am following? I mean, cats are news, right????

16. How to step out of my comfort zone and actually do things I have been dreaming about doing but was afraid to do until now, like get my first tattoo and actually chop all my hair off!

Being in college is really great. It is such an experience, and honestly, I love it. I love that I have met people that I know will be at my wedding and probably in it too. I love the flexibility and the great opportunities that come with being in college. Yes, it is hard, but it is worth it. Every instant mac and cheese dinner is worth the day I walk across the stage and finally have my degree and am on my way to law school. Every late night and study break is going to be worth it when I am 30 years old and successful. Keep going, guys. You rock and remember, you're not alone in the struggle and the best way to get through it is to joke about it, because if you can't laugh about it then you'll just be sad about it.

Christmas Tree

Now that Halloween is over, it's time to focus on the Holiday Season. Don't get me wrong, I think Thanksgiving is great and can't wait for it, but nothing gives me greater joy than watching Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas, lighting peppermint scented candles, decking the halls, and baking gingerbread cookies. So while we approach the greatest time of the year, let's watch the 15 best Christmas movies of all time.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time. Ever heard of “pain is temporary, but GPA is forever?” Pre-meds don’t just embody that motto; we live and breathe it. Here are 10 symptoms you’re down with the pre-med student syndrome.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
