15 Years And Counting: What I Want My Best Friend To Know

I am so thankful you have been my friend for 15 years. You have stuck around for so long. Don't get me wrong there had been hard times, like when we lived together and continuously got frustrated with one another, but, in the end, it made our relationship stronger. I miss those nights that I used to have with you. When there is a need to escape my Atlanta world you are always there for me.

First, I just want to say that you need to find someone that will love you more than anything on earth. It seems like you have found the guy that loves you almost as much as I do lol. You deserve to be loved the right way by someone who will always see the beauty in your smiles and even on the days that you frown or cry.

Second, be sure that you always put yourself first. Don't forget to take a breather and remember what kind of person you want to be. Run away to the beach or the mountains, spend the time to adventure around the world. Accomplish your dreams, enjoy going back to school and finding out what to do with your wife.

Thirdly, keep the faith in yourself. Remember that your journey with Christ is one that you have fought for, and the relationship that I see is one that inspires me. Thank you for never giving up on my journey with God. If it wasn't for the things you have done, I don't know where I would be.

So here is to the friend that has always been there. Here's to our climbing trees days and late nights discussing what to do with our lives. Here's to the time I called you and just shared everything I have ever thought about you with an accent, but instead of being upset you were happy that I opened up to you. Even with the distance between us, we are still the best of friends. Hoping for another 15 years with you.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. These are eleven thoughts that I have as a writer while writing my stories.

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
