During your college years, you will learn many things. Thankfully, amongst all of the seemingly unnecessary information you will compartmentalize in your brain, college is filled with important lessons that can be applied to our lives as young adults. With that said, I present to you a list of the most important life lessons I have learned from my friends and experiences in college. Whether you vibe with them or not, I hope you enjoy!

1. Vulnerability can be scary, but it indicates courage.

2. Live in the present, but don't fear the future.

3. Trust the process.

4. Trust your instincts and intuition.

5. "Your friends are the family you choose for yourself." -- "F.R.I.E.N.D.S."

6. Sometimes all you need is some good friends, a porch and real talk to solve your problems.

7. Be confident in all of your abilities.

8. Everything happens for a reason.

9. Synchronicity is more common than you think.

10. Don’t ever feel pressured to do anything you don't want to do.

11. Be spontaneous.

12. "Stay hungry, stay foolish."

14. Allow yourself to really feel everything.

15. And truly try to cherish the time you have in college with your friends, it goes by faster than you think.
