15 Ways You Know You Have Summer Fever

It feels like Spring Break was a tease. We have been back to school for a month and you are just now getting back into a normal routine, only guess what is approaching... FINALS. You know you should be studying, but all you can think about is what job you going to apply for this summer, stalking boutiques online because you want to buy ALL of their summer clothes, counting down the days to your summer vacation, or spending your weekends outside, at the beach, and making your three day weekend feel like your on break again. If any of these apply to you, you have SUMMER FEVER!

1. Every weekend you make time to go to the beach, some students even go during the week.

2. You have so much on your mind and can't remember what assignments are due so you have three to do lists.

3. You moan every time you have to wake up for your 8 A.M.

4. Your teachers even have Summer Fever they start ending lecture 15 minutes early.

5. The gym suddenly gets more busy the last month of school, everyone wants a summer-bod right?

6.You have started to order off the dollar menu and using coupons because your food budget has suddenly gotten smaller.

7. Thursdays don't come fast enough.

8. Your so happy there is only a couple of weeks left but you know they are about to only consist of tests and studying.

9. Your planning your day so you can squeeze in nap time even if it is only for 10 minutes.

10. Your amount of caffeine or coffee intake has rapidly increased.

11. Every-time you get dressed for class you see your unworn summer clothes that have only been touched a few times this semester.

12. At the beginning of the year you had one alarm set to wake you up, now you have five-10 that have to go off back to back because your continuously press snooze.

13. Tanning memberships are a must because you like to pretend your tan came from real vitamin sea (but you don't have time to go to the beach).

14. Spring Break was a tease, you reminisce on your 100+ photos, and wish you could be back on break already.

15. Your looking forward to summer to get a job and have more money of your own in your account.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
