We all have those days when we may feel down and we need a little pick me up. There are days when we may feel like we are on top of the world, but then something may come up that causes us to be in a funk. It’s completely normal to have those days when we might not feel like ourselves. To get back in a happy state, there are many ways to help lift your spirit:

- Throw yourself a dance party. Like the saying goes, “Dance like no one is watching.”
- Listen to music that relaxes you.
- Call a friend you trust.
- Spend time with people who will lift your spirit up.
- Find three things that you are grateful for, then write them down on a piece of paper so you can go back and remember them.
- Treat yourself to a food or drink that you haven’t had in a while.
- Spend some time outside and get some fresh air.
- Exercise… Whether it is going for a jog or doing strength training, working out will release your endorphins, which will make you feel better about yourself.
- Do something silly.
- Watch your favorite TV show.
- Read your favorite book.
- Go to your favorite restaurant.
- Start a craft project, even if you don’t consider yourself a crafter.
- Try your hardest to let go of that chip on your shoulder.
- Smile and tell yourself that you are important.
