15 Ways To Survive Saturdays Without Penn State Football

How many Saturdays until game day? This is a question that every Penn State student has asked at one time or another. Don't worry, every Saturday is one Saturday closer to the best time of the year, football season! Until then, we will find ways to survive and distract ourselves.

Here are 15 things that will help you get through the game-less Saturdays:

1. Daylong. Daylong. Daylong.

We all know that when there are no football games to attend it's daylong season. No matter where you end up going, it's going to be one hell of a time. Just be sure you can still rally for the night to come.

2. Did you say mimosas?

Hold the OJ.

3. Endless amounts of Crown Russe and Natty.

Can't decide which one you want to force down your throat that day? You know what they say, go hard or go home.

4. The football players' return to fratland.

"Oh my god, did you hear that Saquon is here?"

5. Post-daylong Chipotle or Baby's.

Which one do you choose? This question can be hard, especially when both lines are out the door and all you want is your grease-filled food.

6. PMan.

"I want the nachos."

7. (Empty) promises to study and work out.

"I'll just do it tomorrow."

8. Binge-watching Netflix.

There's no better way to distract yourself than to watch hours and hours of your favorite Netflix show. You may tell yourself that you'll be productive after the next episode, but we all know that won't happen.

9. Sleeping the day away.

"I'll get up in an hour... or two... or three... maybe never."

10. Watching the blocked OSU kick...on repeat.

If you go to Penn State and haven't watched the video of us beating Ohio State, I have one question, "Do you even go here?" If you have watched it, you've probably watched every possible edit of it. Nothing will ever beat the feeling of that win.

11. Continuing to watch endless Penn State Football videos.

We love it... and we're not sorry.

12. Remembering that Blue and White Weekend is just around the corner.

Blue and White Weekend reminds us why we love filling Beaver Stadium every football Saturday. It gives us a sneak peek at the season to come and allows us to be crazy fans once again (I'll see you all April 22, 2017).

13. Throwback pictures of game days past.

You can never post too many game day photos.

14. Freezing outside to numb the off-season pain.

If this doesn't explain our time without football, I don't know what does.

15. Counting down the days until you see your favorite boys back on the field.

In seven months we will be throwing people in the air, losing our voices and celebrating our boys' return.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
