15 Ways SpongeBob Shows You Have The Best Roommate

Starting your first semester of college is strange to begin with. And on top of that, you have to room with a complete stranger? Thinking about this is crazy itself, but if you're lucky enough, you're roommate will become your best friend, and someone you can't do anything without. And if that's the case, you both can relate to these fifteen reasons about having the best roommate ever.

1. You have the same sense of humor.

One way to know this is true if there's never a time where you aren't laughing together.

2. Both of you are always down to go get food.

When you're in college, all you want to do is eat. And having someone who loves to eat just as much as you do is a bonus.

3. There's no such thing as a filter when either of you need to vent about something.

Let it out, it's all okay.

4. And no judgement on what you two talk about.

What's said in our room, stays in our room.

5. Deciding on outfits is a million times easier.

Especially if you have the same sense of style. If your roommate really cares about you, she'll make sure you know wearing that scarf with that flannel is not okay.

6. People watching in the dining hall is much more fun with them.

The best pass time in the world.

7. You both are totally fine with having a movie night.

"I don't feel like going out tonight." "Oh, thank God, there's no way I'm getting up."

8. But going out together is the best time ever.

Not only is getting ready to go out a fun time, but going out together is even better.

9. The two of you have your own special tradition/routine.

Sunday night is for take-out Chinese food.

10. Midnight dance parties in your room is a normal thing.

Who cares if it's quiet hours?

11. So is showering at 3 AM.

Best time to shower is when no one else is in there.

12. Sharing food isn't a problem.

This shouldn't be a problem, but it's always good to label your left-overs before putting them in the fridge.

13. You binge on the same shows.

This is why most of the time, college kids never ever leave their room.

14. You miss them when they aren't in the room.

The room is just so quiet without them, you send that "where are you?" text.

15. You consider each other best friends.

They made your first year of college the best it could be, and there's no one you could've done it without them.
