I think we can all relate to the anxiety of starting college and meeting new people. You worry about having weird roommates and the possibility of not finding people that you like. However, all of the anxiety I felt was wiped away the second I met my friends. They are the coolest people I have ever met and I cherish every moment that we are hanging out together. Here is how I know they are the real deal.

1. You loved them the second you met

The second I met each of my friends, I knew they would end up being my best friends. They all exemplified various qualities that made being around them fun.

2. They love pizza

My friends and I share an equal love for sweatpants and sweatshirts on a lazy weekend. If your friends don't want to complain about gaining the freshman 15 and then order pizza afterwards, rethink who you are hanging out with ASAP.

3. You don't have to make an excuse to not go out

If my friends want to go out, I am not afraid to say "sorry I have a date with Netflix".

4. Guy friends that spontaneously start dancing

I love how my guy friends randomly start dancing. Nothing solidifies a friendship like horrible dance moves.

5. That one friend who can't cook anything

My roommate is always trying to make ramen noodles and messes up every time.

6. They workout with you

Late night workouts at the gym are a little more bearable when you have someone to run with! Nothing beats walking to the gym together and contemplating turning around and going back to the dorm.

7. When you cry saying goodbye before winter break

Five weeks without my best friends? No thank you! We came to college crying because we didn't want to leave home, and we were crying before winter break because we didn't want to go home.

8. When you can insult each other

Nothing says "friendship" like passing by your BFF on the way to class and saying "eww what are you doing here?" before laughing and walking away.

9. That one friend who knows the words to every song

Every minute is karaoke!!

10. They get excited about everything

On move in day we thought we were such rebels going to 7/11 at midnight without asking our parents. Luckily, the intensity has increased as the year has progressed with our adventures to Bodega Bay, San Francisco, and various hiking trails. Nonetheless, whether it's 7/11 or San Francisco we are always super excited.

11. That one friend who parties all the time

When your friend parties all the time and comes to class exhausted. Somehow they still manage to look at you with a smile and say:

12. They would do anything for you

Jump off a balcony to make sure you are safe, pump air into the tires of your bike, and randomly stop by your dorm to color and listen to music. We all have that one friend who makes your day when they skateboard past you with music blasting and say an enthusiastic "hello". They are the kind of people that you know will always be there for you.

13. That one friend who gives amazing hugs

There is nothing better than a hug from your best friend.

14. When you are in the same class

Walking into class the first day of the semester is stressful! The anticipation of knowing who to sit by is too real. Nothing compares to the joy of walking in that first day and having your best friend in the same class!

15. You can't live without them

You cringe whenever you think about various "what if we never met" scenarios. They are too disturbing to think about for more than five seconds. My friends are one of kind and I feel extremely lucky to have met such wonderful individuals.

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.
