After a year possibly filled with a lot of junk-food, bad attitudes, and maybe even worse choices, it is easy to slip into a mindset of reversal beginning on January 1st. You might have told yourself since mid-October things like:
“Oh, I can just start that next year”
“This would be a perfect New Year’s resolution!”
Or the best one yet, “New year, new me.”
Telling this to yourself makes it a whole lot easier to push off responsibilities until months later. This allows you to eat a couple more cookies, continue your infamous RBF, and stay lazy for a few more months.
Whether you will actually stick to a New Year’s resolutions past spring break or not, here are some that you can attempt to try.
1. Lose weight
2. Get a good amount of sleep every night.
3. Begin volunteering.
4. Spend less money.
5. Exercise.
6. Be more outgoing.
7. Eat healthier.
.
8. Spend more time with family.
9. Stop procrastinating.
10. Unplug from electronics.
11. Travel more.
12. Read more.
13. Learn something new every day.
14. Start recycling.
15. Go out of your comfort zone.
You've heard all 15 of these.
You might have attempted one of these.
Here's to a new year, another chance to try your New Year's resolutions... again.
