In 2008, Bob Boilen, host of NPR's All Songs Considered, left a concert very upset at how hard it was to hear the music over the crowded bar. He joked that he should invite the artist to perform at his desk and record it for NPR. Later that week, Boilen did just what he said and the Tiny Desk Concert Series was born. Since its inception, Boilen has had over 550 concerts recorded at his desk. I've gathered 15 of those that are absolute must sees of musical genius.
